Gaffey was also named NEAC Conference “Coach of the Year” for the program's quick turnaround in the 2010-2011 (last place to first in 3 years) season and has also mentored 5 NEAC All-Conference selections- Kenton Alston, David Reisinger, Nick Liddell, Steve Jones, and Lancaster Lebanon League grad Jordan Gatchall in his five seasons at the Division 3 school. PSU Harrisburg also led the league in scoring at 80 plus points per game in 2010-11 and 2011-12. In addition, Gaffey was named the Lancaster-Lebanon League 2006-07 “Coach of the Year” while coaching at Annville-Cleona.
